In short
This release improves how charts look across Word, Excel and PowerPoint files and adds multiple-area selection to worksheets.
- Chart axes, backgrounds, fills, labels, legends and stacked values more closely match Office.
- Waterfall, box-and-whisker, treemap and bubble charts have more accurate layout and styling.
- Hold Ctrl on Windows/Linux or Command on macOS to select multiple worksheet areas.
Charts look closer to Office
Charts now follow more of the formatting saved by Office, including axis ranges and ticks, chart and plot backgrounds, wrapped category labels, data-label placement, legend keys, pattern fills and percentage stacking.
Modern chart types also receive substantial visual improvements. Bubble sizes, treemap hierarchy, waterfall styling and box-and-whisker geometry now more closely match their Office appearance.
Select multiple worksheet areas
Hold Ctrl on Windows/Linux or Command on macOS while dragging to add another cell, row or column area to the selection.
Each selected area uses the configured selection color, while the active cell remains easy to identify. Adjacent areas no longer create doubled borders.
Upgrading
No migration is required. Existing viewer setup and single-area worksheet selection continue to work as before.
